Valid Tenant
This test checks that our back-end systems have a record for your tenant name.
If this test returns an error please contact Crossware Support.
Service Principal Status
This test checks that a valid "Service Principal" has been created.
If this test returns an error please contact Crossware Support immediately.
Service Principal Expiry
This test checks how long the Service Principal is valid for. A Service Principal is only valid for a specific time period.

WAAD Status
This test attempts to connect to Windows Azure Active Directory(WAAD) using the Service Principal. The Service Principal allows our website to authenticate with Microsoft, and also allows us read access to your WAAD for processing emails. Authentication via the website is usually immediate, but read access to the directory which may take additional time which can be several hours as the changes are replicated through Microsoft infrastructure.
If you receive the following error "sts_token_request_failed" this indicates that we have not yet been granted access to your directory. Once we have access, the provisioning process can continue.
Caching Server Status
This test checks that your tenant details have been loaded by the caching server. This process only starts after the Service Principal has been created.
Cache Publish Status
This test checks that your signature configuration and your directory information has been merged and successfully cached.
SMTP Server Status
This test checks that your cached setting have been published to all the SMTP Servers.
Microsoft 365 Return Host
Crossware Mail Signature calculates the host to which emails are returned via Microsoft 365. This test attempts to connect to the host on port 25.
This test does not send a test email and does not validate the Inbound Connector.
