Question

The Number of Users whose emails are being processed by Crossware has Exceeded my Licensed Subscription.

How can I determine the number of users who are using the Crossware Service?

Solution for Microsoft 365

To identify which users are triggering the Transport Rule.

1. Go to your Microsoft Exchange admin centerMail flow > Rules > Edit the CrosswareTransportRule (default name: might be different depending on what your global admin has named the rule)

2. Identify the Group/Groups Triggering the Crossware Transport Rule

3.  A count of the Members in the Group should reflect Current Usage.

Note: There may be nested Groups whose members will also add to the current usage

Solution for Google Workspace

1. Go to your Google Admin Console > Expand the Apps option > Select the Google Workspace option > Click on the Gmail app > Select the Compliance setting

2. Scroll till you find the Content Compliance section > Locate the CrosswareTransportRule > Click on the Edit button

3. At the bottom of the page, click on the Show options button

4. Find the Envelope filter section > Identify the group(s) triggering the transport rule

3. The number of members in the group should reflect the usage numbers
